Mad & Kaffe Amagerbro

A subtle renovation shaped around atmosphere, comfort, and everyday use in Copenhagen. The project introduces a new tiled floor that brings rhythm and structure to the space after entering the custom wooden vestibule in fluted glass. Meanwhile an acoustic ceiling enhances both sound quality and visual softness in the space to counteract the tiling.

Warm wood, muted tones, and filtered light create a calm, cohesive interior that supports both social dining and quiet moments. The design balances openness with intimacy, staying true to the café’s informal character while elevating the overall spatial experience. The loose furniture and lighting are a mix of modern and classic pieces whilst respecting the warm minimalism direction.
