Brasserie & Café Florentz

In this heritage hotel building we wanted to highlight the beautiful details in these historical rooms whilst adding a modern twist with bold colours and patterned wallpaper to the project. The brief was to create a modern brasserie but with an air of the past from tea parlours. We chose a light colouring on the walls to brighten the previously dark space and focused on plush sofa seating and secluded corners with bulky club chairs. We looked into striking colourful fabrics that emphasised the classic elegance that reigned supreme back in the day. Many of the elements were existing and were repurposed by adding new cladding and a coat of paint. Indulge in a long lunch in this comfortable setting as many of its predecessors have.
