Ishøjgaard School offers help to children in need of special attention and assistance when the early days of school life have proven challenging. Our task was to create a warm, safe and playful café where everyone feels welcome and at ease. This was a chance to offer the children a different type of space to eat, relax and socialise in. We implemented different seating areas and used neutral tones combined with colour blocking to create a fun and inviting space that also peeks one’s curiosity.
