M&K Hub
In Copenhagen, we developed a combined showroom, office, and running club hub for our long-standing client Mad & Kaffe. After more than a decade without a dedicated space, the ambition was to create a home that reflects the brand’s maturity—defined by a chic, elegant, and warmly minimal aesthetic.
The space is designed as a multifunctional environment that supports the daily operations of the company while also accommodating its wider community. It functions as an everyday workspace, a hub for the running club, and a flexible setting for staff training and community events.
The material palette balances precision and warmth. Sleek steel elements and seamless PU flooring establish a clean, contemporary foundation, while a soft beige Asonar acoustic ceiling enhances both comfort and acoustics. These are contrasted by tactile textiles, warm-toned stained wood, and natural Jura Grau stone, adding depth and a sense of permanence.
To introduce volume and texture within the restrained architectural framework, we incorporated bulky modular furniture upholstered in modern textiles, alongside carefully selected design pieces with a subtle brutalist character. This contrast adds a sense of weight and tactility, enriching the otherwise clean and minimal space.
The result is a calm and elevated interior that encourages focus, reflection, and continued growth—offering Mad & Kaffe a space that is both highly functional and deeply rooted in its identity.
